The stainless steel company of HBIS Tangsteel was founded in September 27, 2003, which is located in Guye District of Tangshan City, with convenient waterways and land transportation conditions. The company is one of the three subsidiaries of Hesteel Tangsteel, which is a JV Company by 5 companies: HBIS Tangsteel, China Twenty-two Metallurgical Construction Corporation, Hengshui Jinghua Pipe Co., Ltd., the Kailuan Group LLC and Jinfeng supplies of Chaozhou City, with different ownership and diversified investment model. The company registered capital of 2.08 billion yuan, covers an area of 2097 acres, more than 4,100 registered employees. It has complete production line of iron-making, steel-making, hot-rolling and so on, with an annual output of 2.8 million tons of iron, 3 million tons of steel, 3 million tons of coil.

Now, it has three 90m² sintering machine, one 132m² sintering machine, one 2000m³ blast furnace, one double-station liquid iron pre-treatment, three 100t decarbonization converter, one 110t  dephosphorization converter, three 110t LF refining furnaces , one 110t VOD refining furnace, one 110t RH vacuum smelting furnace, one six-strand billet caster machine, three single-strand slab casters, one 1580mm hot rolling production line, two high quality wire production lines and related auxiliary facilities.

Main products: hot-rolled tin plate, low carbon deep drawing steel, ultra-low carbon IF steel and high-strength automotive steel as the leading products. The stainless steel company has become the largest production base of tinplate in North part of China, and as the raw material production base for high strength auto-sheet and high-quality hot-rolled plate for home appliances of HBIS Tangsteel.
